Ahmad[3]

There lies an unparallel type of soul inside Ahmad. He is extremely anxious about the life after death. “What is this that leads me towards the feeling of anxiety”, said Ahmad to himself in a cold ambience of his room. Suddenly he remembers the man which he saw at the house. “What was he doing there in the chilly night when everybody are dead like in their warm beddings, what was he reciting”. He cogitates with open eyes.

A cloud of depression surrounded Ahmad’s mind he wants to die but fell asleep. Night is a charming thing according to Ahmad, for he forgets everything. He hates day time as there is nothing kept for him. He didn’t want to feel the deplorable state of his family.

Ahmad opened his eyes and saw a new dawn for the fateful and a drop of tear rolled down through his cheek. Uninterestingly he joins the other miserable day and went out of his home.

“Enjoying and reciting are people, shall that day would come when I and my family members rejoice bliss”. Said Ahmad walking through a lane, in fact Ahmad has reached this age in wait of happiness. In Ahmad has reached to this age in wait of happiness.

The unoccupied conscience has carved the personality of Ahmad philanthropic. He is in search of peace-the eternal peace. For there appears on the face of Ahmad a sort of dissatisfaction, “I don’t know about what, as there are many occasions where prejudices effects the thinking of a man”. There seems his whole body from toe to head is at blaze, the chilling air that strikes transfigures his face to an angelic one every passerby looks at him with reverence. “Why people are looking at me so earnestly”, Contemplates Ahmad. The handsome face of Ahmad attracted the attention of the women folk. He oft watched the beautiful faces ogling him and his shyness made him to keep his gaze downwards. From this occurrence Ahmad take it as his ugliness that repels the people, and he strides towards an empty lane with a feeling of contempt.

Embarrassed and upset stepped into that empty lane Ahmad slows down the pace and said to himself “the feminine figures that I saw ogling me have delineated the figures of desire before my eyes, the temporary tranquility of my mind is somewhat shattered” murmured Ahmad again. “The countless wicked and immoral thoughts dormant in the human beings matures by the glimpses of unwanted affair, clarifies Ahmad to himself. Daunted by his notion of thinking he is walking slowly through this lane waiting fall of the darkness.

Here I must admit that I hate Ahmad’s self talking for people took him lunatic, many times I compelled him not to do so but he never kept any attention to my advice- in fact he is stubborn, this attitude is leading him towards loneliness, really I am feeling very pity about him; and there arrives the dusk and a sort of vigor can be traced in the gesture of Ahmad.

However, the philosophy which Ahmad has expressed evidently describes the hypocritical character of Ahmad. “It is now dark I may better return to home”, said Ahmad and strolled on road leading to his house.

You must have noticed the complicated mind set of Ahmad, though trying to keep his mind calm to his utmost he still sometimes doubt madness emitting from his brain but the matter doesn’t ends here.

While walking homeward a car stopped near Ahmad which came from behind him. “hey Kuhan” said Owaisi from the driving seat of his car, come on sit inside the car” asked Owaisi—for there is ample supply of time for Ahmad he thought it better not to indulge in conversation anymore and stepped into the car.

“You know what is the problem with you that that you think unnecessarily, unless and until you won’t compromise you will not succeed”, said Owaisi to Ahmad. On what matter I have to compromise” asked Ahmad. “You know Ahmad we have mis-governance at its peak here, what the honest men had done- compromise”, answered Owaisi. “You mean they have gave up”, asks Ahmad. “Yes off course, my dear”, replied Owaisi. “I don’t think that the responsible men could do that deed”, told Ahmad with a weight of belief in his voice, “but you must” said Owaisi adding “if it hadn’t be so why then are these responsible and honest people bearing and watching silently, why they have become mute subjects? Come on answer me”, replied Owaisi.

Ahmad preferred silence, in fact what? Owaisi told is truth-a bitter truth which Ahmad knows very well, “come on answer”, said Sharon again, “ I know you have no answer”, said Owaisi driving the argument further “ the same I am telling you to compromise as those responsible and honest people have done”. And there arose a piece of silence until car reaches Owaisi’s home. Owaisi stepped out of the car and invited Ahmad for a cup of tea.

It was near about 10 o’clock of night Ahmad accepted the invitation and went inside the house with Owaisi.

Owaisi has accumulated the huge wealth. He has built the Bungalow, out of a desire to live luxurious and deluxe life, in the prime area of the state. Ahmad House is situated some kilometers away from Owaisi’s which his father has acquired in inheritance.

Owaisi took Ahmad in his study and ordered the servant for tea. Ahmad sat down silently adjacent to the book rack where rests the books of advice. “How are you feeling now “, asked Owaisi, Kuhan unmindful looking on the books resting on the rack doesn’t answer.” Relax Ahmad”, said Owaisi again. This time Ahmad heard what Owaisi has asked and said “yes I am trying to pacify my thoughts”, “and you better take this hot cup of tea”, replied Owaisi. Ahmad drank that hot cup of tea in a single sip and exhaled the steam out while feeling comfort on the chair.

“Did you remember the conversation we had in the car”, asked Owaisi, “Yes Mr. Owaisi, quiet exactly”, replied Ahmad now feeling uncomfortable “ironically Mr. Owaisi, are not you one of the responsible citizens of the state”, asked Ahmad “Off-course” replies Owaisi with a smell of egotism in his voice “this is the compromise”, says Owaisi again.

“O! Papa why are you so late today”, said Arin while entering the study room, and Ahmad how are you”. “I am quite fine”, replied Ahmad in dim voice. Arin has worn gown down to her knees but not down to her ankles and sat on the chair adjacent to Ahmad. “I am just coming back”, said Owaisi and went out of the study room.

“Why are you feeling so un-easy? Says Arin looking at Ahmad, “not at all”, replied Ahmad, “In fact I think I am getting late. Arin felt offended by hearing the word ‘think’ and said “why think so much”, don’t you think that you too think”, replied Ahmad. Arin now much more offended and added to progressive conversation, “I never had met the type of person like you-accidently or deliberately before, you know you are a hard person and if you don’t change your attitude your life will become ‘Hell-Bent’”. “What my life is right now”, declared Ahmad. “O! so you fathom your present condition, in fact Ahmad nobody is responsible for your wretchedness accept yourselves”. And there resulted a bit of silence in the room with this remark of Arin.

Ahmad breathed a deep sigh while hiding his face with his both hands. Tears oozed out from the eyes of Ahmad he wiped them with his hand but still with some droplets on his cheek he said “what do you want me to do? “Enjoy life, life is a beautiful gift from God, forget everything and live it, life is not a misery but people like you make it”, with this she kisses the cheek of Ahmad and retired to her room.

Ahmad is humorless person; no reaction kindled from him when female lips touched his cheek, he still lie down on the chair like a lifeless object until Sharon joined him again “so young man reached anywhere”, said Sharon, absent minded Ahmad replied, “Where” “Oh, it is too late I must leave now” added Ahmad. “Ok, but keep visiting”, says Owaisi while lifting a book on morals.

Ahmad bade good bye and left his company and his house. The time was near about 11 O’clock of night and beautiful moon shines up on the sky scattering the dim light all over the biosphere.
